Pitch Feedback

After the presentation of the pitch we asked our fellow students questions on their thoughts on our idea and general video plans.

Q1. Does the concept work for you?

The general response from the group was that it was a unique and entropic idea with the potential to be very humorous. They also felt that the idea fits well with the song and should come together well as a final product.

Q2. Does our target audience match our music video concept?

The audience decided that out target audience was too vague and needed refining with more detail. therefore adjust various other features of the video that would suit the audience better.

Q3. Does our costume choice match our concept well?

Our original idea was to wear suits and balaclavas, but due to the lack of funds to create the costumes he had to re-think our idea. The idea was to wear Hawaiian shirts and denim shorts for a comical effect. the response was that no matter what the costume was it would work, but others said that it may not make sense in the video, but it depends on how the video is edited.

Q4. Will the video be feasible? Are there any parts which you consider may be difficult?

All agreed that it is very possible to create, but some scenes may be difficult to make look realistic, for example a scene where a dog accidentally run over, so we may wish to re-consider some scenes.

Q5 Is our concept original?

All agreed that the concept was different to anything they have seen before, and has the potential to be great, but also to make sure performance elements are included, otherwise its at risk of looking too similar to a short film.
